OTK Boots one last time!
Hello,
I have
officially bid farewell to my parka, shed my winter boots and I am embracing peep
toes and fringe sandals. The weather this side was an absolute delight –with a
touch and go of over 26 Celsius, the weekend was reportedly the highest temperature
Britain has seen this year!
And staying
true to quintessential British Weather we have moved from a weekend of summer
sunshine to a week of moody rain!
Fall 2015,
style wise was one of my favourite seasons so far. There have been many a block buster trends from the
camel tone coats, to chequered skirts, marl knits and my favourite OTK boots! I
think it’s reasonable to conclude that the bygone season has left us with some
epic wardrobe pieces.
And I took this opportunity of slightly dropped temperatures to take my OTK boots for one last spin ;)I could not help resist the temptation! (lol). We did the customary somerset house visit,to watch the summer fountains, If you are in and around London its definitely worth a trip! It was an absolute delight to see everyone enjoy and of-course take part in some fountain running action- it was almost 'Bollywood dreams' material sans the cheesy background score( hehe ) !
I have paired my epic OTK boots with this smock dress I got on a discount from ASOS,they have some sales happening every now and then and you might find some great pieces at slashed prices. Off late, I am loving embroidery detail and with online stores gearing up for summer, you are literally spoiled for choice. After much web researching and joyful online skimming I officially vote for ASoS!
Check out
this black off shoulder dress with blue
detail ,like whoah, I could live through summer in that one!
This white
dress is super cute , With tie –up
back its perfect for the beach outings.
Its all
about simple, chic when it comes to this one and this one, with Loose
curls, strappy sandals and Tadah- you’ll look like a dream!
If its more
of a sensuous diva look ,this off shoulder back dress with lace hem is pure
divine.I would pair
it with some gladiators and perhaps even go bare shoulders!
And for my last
pick, It had to be the 70’s retro bohemian feel! This
Checks all
the right boxes and TASSELS, now that is some serious temptation!
I have
paired my dress with my good old saddlebag and a few old rings from Zara.
Reminiscing
the great fall season that’s come and gone, we would love to hear your about your killer
autumnal buys! Did you ‘fall’ in love with any particular fall trends!
In a way fashion
is more than just -clothes and pretty things, it truly is an art form, a way of
expressing yourself! Get out there and immerse in those bold hues, baggy pants
or sassy bohemian vibes, let your hair loose and go wild!
Until Next time!
Stay Beautiful!
Take care!
